Vendredi 28 janvier, Marc Georget, représentant la société RTE (Réseau de transport d’électricité) de Billère a été accueilli par l’AGPI dans ses locaux. Il a remit un chèque de mille euros, dans le cadre du challenge « Développement Durable 2010 » interne à l’entreprise à l’association de familles d’enfants porteurs de handicap.
Pour Alain Massias, président de l’association, « ce soutien financier renforcera nos activités de loisirs, culturelles et sportives à destination des familles d’enfants en situation de handicap ».
Ce don découle du lien fort qui s’est établi avec les électriciens et gaziers de la CMCAS Béarn, Soule et Bigorre, dans le cadre d’une convention pour favoriser des sorties handiski. Ces sorties associent des familles de l’AGPI et des bénévoles de la CMCAS qui mettent à disposition des enfants handicapés des skis-fauteuils qu’ils pilotent avec compétence et bienveillance.
Cette mise en synergie d’associations permet un temps fort, chaleureux et convivial, qui enrichit et stimule chacun d’entre elles.
